South Asians in the East is a local not for profit community organisation set up by two South Asian women to create a diverse vibrant South Asian community in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Mission

Our organisation runs a series of events throughout the year which celebrate the beautiful culture and heritage of South Asia here in Melbourne.

Through education, advocacy, and community engagement, we aim to support individual and collective growth, and create opportunities that reflect the rich diversity and shared values of South Asian cultures right here in Melbourne.
